١٤ - إن العمل التحضيري للموئل الثاني والمؤتمر ذاته في حاجة الى إيجاد طريقة تميز الموئل الثاني عن سائر المؤتمرات العالمية وذلك بتوفير إمكانية دمج كثير من الاهتمامات التي عولجت من خلال عمليات أخرى لﻷمم المتحدة وعمليات عالمية.

An organization that has been granted accreditation to attend a session of the Preparatory Committee may attend all of its future sessions and the Conference itself.

6. The Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) addressed a note verbale to all States members of UNCTAD on 14 February 2000, inviting them to consider providing, through voluntary contributions, resources to defray the costs of participation of government representatives in the meetings of the preparatory committee and the Conference itself.

3. As regards the resource requirements for the Third United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, it is estimated that the participation of two government representatives from each least developed country in the meetings of the Preparatory Committee and the Conference itself would cost $1,164,500 and $500,500 respectively.
3 - وفيما يتعلق بالاحتياجات من الموارد لمؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الثالث لأقل البلدان نموا، فإن تقديرات تكاليف مشاركة ممثلين حكوميين من كل بلد من أقل البلدان نموا في اجتماعات اللجنة التحضيرية والمؤتمر ذاته ستبلغ 500 164 1 دولار و500 500 دولار تباعا.

9. In paragraph 20, the Assembly decided that the preparatory process and the Conference itself should be funded through existing United Nations budgetary resources, without negatively affecting its programmed activities, and through voluntary contributions to a trust fund established specifically for that purpose.

28. The implication, for the Secretariat, of the above decision is likely to be an increasing number of requests for substantive and other forms of support from the secretariat to facilitate the active participation and involvement of non-governmental organization in in-country preparatory processes and for their effective participation in future sessions of the Preparatory Committee and the Conference itself.
