IMO is revising its guidelines for the prevention and suppression of the smuggling of drugs, psychotropic substances and precursor chemicals on ships, contained in IMO Assembly resolution A.872(20), to align them with SOLAS chapter XI-2 and the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (see A/60/63, para. 102).
