For its consideration of item 4, the Working Group will have before it a note by the Secretariat on challenges and good practices in the prevention of the smuggling of migrants, which will include information about capacity-building and border measures, as well as security and control of documents and other prevention measures.

16. In opening the meeting, the Chair recalled resolution 4/3, entitled " Marrakech declaration on the prevention of corruption " , in which the Conference had stressed the importance of implementing articles 5 to 14 of the Convention and had urged States parties to continue to share information concerning initiatives and good practices in the prevention of corruption.
16- واستذكر الرئيس في افتتاح الاجتماع القرار 4/3 المعنون " إعلان مراكش بشأن منع الفساد " ، الذي شدَّد فيه المؤتمر على أهمية تنفيذ المواد من 5 إلى 14 من الاتفاقية، وحث الدول الأطراف على مواصلة تبادل المعلومات بشأن المبادرات والممارسات الجيِّدة في مجال منع الفساد.
