5- يبادر الأمين العام إلى إعلام جميع الدول الموقِّعة على هذه الاتفاقية والمنضمة إليها بتاريخ كل توقيع عليها وتاريخ إيداع كل وثيقة تصديق عليها أو انضمام إليها وتاريخ نفاذها، وبغير ذلك من المعلومات.

5- يبادر الأمين العام إلى إعلام جميع الدول الموقعة على هذه الاتفاقية والمنضمة إليها بتاريخ كل توقيع عليها وتاريخ إيداع كل وثيقة تصديق عليها أو انضمام إليها وتاريخ نفاذها، وبغير ذلك من المعلومات.

2. The Depositary shall promptly inform all signatory and acceding States of the date of each signature, the date of deposit of each instrument of ratification or accession, the date of the entry into force of this Treaty and of any amendments and changes thereto, and the receipt of other notices.
٢ - يبلغ الوديع، على وجه السرعة، جميع الدول الموقعة لهذه المعاهدة والمنضمة إليها بتاريخ كل توقيع، وتاريخ ايداع كل صك تصديق أو انضمام، وتاريخ بدء نفاذ هذه المعاهدة وأي تعديلات وتغييرات عليها وتسلم إشعارات أخرى.

The European Union therefore welcomed the ever-growing number of ratifications of and accessions to the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and the steps taken during the past year with regard to the institutions for which it provided.
لذا فإن الاتحاد اﻷوروبي يرحب بالزيادة المطردة في عدد الدول المصدقة على اتفاقية اﻷمم المتحدة لقانون البحار لعام ١٩٨٢ والمنضمة إليها وبالخطوات التي اتخذت خلال العام الماضي فيما يتعلق بالمؤسسات التي تنص عليها هذه الاتفاقية.
