In July 2013, UNODC and the United Nations Population Fund organized a workshop in Kazakhstan on international standards to ensure the availability and quality of services to protect and support victims of human trafficking and smuggled migrants.
٣٨- وفي تموز/يوليه 2013 نظَّم المكتب وصندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان حلقة عمل في كازاخستان بشأن المعايير الدولية الرامية إلى ضمان توافر ونوعية الخدمات الخاصة بحماية ودعم ضحايا الاتجار بالبشر والمهاجرين المهرَّبين.

The Meeting emphasized the need for the adoption and implementation of effective measures to prevent both trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, including through awareness-raising campaigns, and to protect victims of trafficking in persons and smuggled migrants and ensure the protection of their rights.
33- وشدّد الاجتماع على ضرورة اعتماد وتنفيذ تدابير فعّالة لمنع الاتجار بالأشخاص وتهريب المهاجرين على السواء، بطرائق منها تنظيم حملات توعية، ولحماية ضحايا الاتجار بالأشخاص والمهاجرين المهرَّبين وكفالة حماية حقوقهم.

Specific activities relating to this aspect include assessments of the nexus between criminal justice actors and victim service providers with respect to the provision of protection and assistance trafficked persons and smuggled migrants, followed by national workshops to examine good practices in establishing a system for providing assistance and protection for trafficked persons and smuggled migrants in India and Kenya.
