7. The Committee is concerned about the general lack of awareness of the Convention and of the Committee's general recommendations in the State party.

The Committee also calls upon the State party to take, in line with its obligations under article 24 of the Convention and article 13 of its Optional Protocol, concrete measures to make the two treaties, as well as the Committee's general recommendations, widely known.

وتوصي أيضا بأن تعزز الدولة الطرف جهودها الرامية إلى تعميق الوعي بالاتفاقية وبروتوكولها الاختياري وبالتوصيات العامة للجنة في أوساط القضاة والمدعين العامين والمحامين، من أجل كفالة إطلاع الجمهور على روح الاتفاقية وأهدافها وأحكامها، وأن تُستخدم بانتظام في العمليات القضائية.

It recommends that the State party undertake measures to raise awareness about the Convention and the Committee's general recommendations aimed, inter alia, at parliamentarians, government officials, the judiciary and the legal profession at the federal, state and municipal levels.
وتوصي بأن تتخذ الدولة الطرف تدابير لزيادة الوعي بالاتفاقية وبالتوصيات العامة للجنة الموجهة إلى مجموعة من الجهات على المستوى الاتحادي، وعلى مستوى الولايات والبلديات، كأعضاء البرلمان والمسؤولين الحكوميين والعاملين بالهيئة القضائية والمهن القانونية.

3. As the Convention was not widely known in Germany, her Ministry had produced a new brochure in late 2007 to raise awareness of the Convention, its Optional Protocol and the Committee's general recommendations.

The Committee remains concerned, however, that there is inadequate knowledge in society in general, including among all branches of Government, including the judiciary, of the rights of women under the Convention and its Optional Protocol, the Convention's concept of substantive equality of women and men and the Committee's general recommendations.
بيد أن القلق ما زال يساور اللجنة إزاء عدم الإلمام الكافي في المجتمع عموما، بما فيه أجهزة الحكومة كافة، ومنها الجهاز القضائي، بالحقوق المكفولة للمرأة بموجب الاتفاقية وبروتوكولها الاختياري وبمفهوم الاتفاقية المتعلق بالمساواة الفعلية بين الجنسين وبالتوصيات العامة للجنة.

وتشعر اللجنة بالقلق كذلك لعدم كفاية المعرفة بحقوق المرأة بموجب الاتفاقية ومفهومها للمساواة الموضوعية بين الجنسين وبالتوصيات العامة للجنة من جانب جميع الفروع الحكومية وسلك القضاء، على الصعيدين الوطني والإقليمي.

كما يساور اللجنة قلق إزاء عدم كفاية المعرفة بحقوق المرأة بموجب الاتفاقية، وبمفهوم المساواة الموضوعية بين الجنسين الذي تتضمنه، وبالتوصيات العامة للجنة على صعيد جميع فروع الحكومة والسلطة القضائية من ناحية، والجمهور من ناحية أخرى.
