In this connection, the Advisory Committee recalls paragraph 38 of General Assembly resolution 57/300, in which the Assembly shared the vision of the Secretary-General to foster excellence among United Nations staff, inter alia, by rejuvenation, while ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, competence and integrity, as well as equitable geographical representation and gender balance.
وتشير اللجنة الاستشارية إلى الفقرة 38 من قرار الجمعية العامة 57/300 التي شاطرت فيها الجمعية رؤية الأمين العام بالنسبة لتعزيز التميُّز لدى موظفي الأمم المتحدة بوسائل منها تجديد شباب المنظمة، مع كفالة أعلى مستويات المقدرة والكفاءة والنزاهة، فضلا عن التمثيل الجغرافي العادل والتوازن بين الجنسين.
