114. The Committee took note of the political will shown by the Republic of Cameroon, the Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea for the operationalization of CRESMAC and:

It has set up regular meetings, the most recent of which was held on 20 June 2008 at Yaoundé, Republic of Cameroon; it recommended that the initiative be expanded to include the other three CEMAC member States, the Gabonese Republic, the Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
وتعُقد في إطار المبادرة اجتماعات دورية أوصى آخر اجتماع منها، عُقد في ياوندي بجمهورية الكاميرون في 20 حزيران/يونيه 2008، بتوسيع نطاق المبادرة لتشمل الدول الأخرى الأعضاء في الجماعة الاقتصادية والنقدية لوسط أفريقيا، وهي جمهورية غابون وجمهورية الكونغو وجمهورية غينيا الاستوائية.

Central Africa 124. The Committee followed closely the statements of the Republic of Angola, the Republic of the Congo, the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, the Republic of Cameroon and the ECCAS Secretariat on continued acts of maritime piracy, which represents a challenge to the security and economy of the Central African subregion and a threat to peace and security for the entire international community.
124 - تابعت اللجنة باهتمام كبير الإعلانات الصادرة عن جمهورية أنغولا وجمهورية الكونغو وجمهورية غينيا الاستوائية وجمهورية سان تومي وبرينسيبي وجمهورية الكاميرون والأمانة العامة للجماعة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا الوسطى بشأن استمرار أعمال القرصنة البحرية التي تشكل تحديا للأمن والاقتصاد في منطقة وسط أفريقيا دون الإقليمية وتهديدا للسلام والأمن الإقليميين والدوليين.

The detention of Mr. Wenceslao Mansogo is arbitrary, being in contravention of articles 7, 9, 10, 11 and 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and 9, 14 (1), 14 (2), 14 (3), 19 and 22 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights to which the Republic of Equatorial Guinea is party, and falls under categories II and III of the Working Group's methods of work.
