In his discussions with Governments and all parties to conflict, the Special Representative stresses the humanitarian character of his missions. He emphasized his concern for all dimensions of the impact of conflict on children, and underscored his preoccupation with the fate of all victimized children, regardless of their ethnic, religious or political affiliations, or the source of their victimization.

Expresses deep concern about the continuing armed conflict in Kachin State and the associated human rights and international humanitarian law violations, and calls upon the Government of Myanmar and all parties to the armed conflict to take measures to protect the civilian population and for safe, timely, full and unhindered humanitarian access;
13 - تعرب عن بالغ القلق من استمرار النزاع المسلح في ولاية كاشين وما يقترن به من انتهاكات لحقوق الإنسان والقانون الإنساني الدولي، وتهيب بحكومة ميانمار وجميع أطراف النزاع المسلح أن تتخذ تدابير لحماية المدنيين وكفالة وصول المساعدة الإنسانية في حينها على نحو آمن تام دون أي عوائق؛

2. In the preamble, the Sub-Commission began by recalling its resolution 1997/1 of 20 August 1997, in which it called upon the Government of the Republic of the Congo and all parties to the conflict to abide by their obligations under international human rights and humanitarian law.

We support the call in successive United Nations resolutions for an international peace conference with the participation of the five permanent members of the Security Council and all parties to the conflict, including the Palestine Liberation Organization on an equal footing and with equal rights in order to achieve a comprehensive and lasting peace in the region.
ونحن نؤيد الدعوة الواردة في قرارات اﻷمم المتحدة المتتابعة لعقد مؤتمر دولي للسلام بمشاركة اﻷعضاء الخمسة )٥( الدائمين في مجلس اﻷمن وجميع أطراف النزاع، بما في ذلك منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية على قدم المساواة وبحقوق متساوية بغية التوصل الى سلم شامل دائم في المنطقة.

The report on the impact of armed conflict on children (A/51/306) was an appeal from the heart to the moral conscience of humankind. Its recommendations were balanced, action-oriented and comprehensive and must be followed up by Governments, the United Nations system, civil society and all parties to armed conflicts.
٦٥ - ومضى قائلا إن التقرير الخاص بأثر الصراع المسلح على اﻷطفال )A/51/306( هو نداء من القلب موجه إلى الضمير البشري الحي والتوصيات الواردة فيه متوازنة وعملية وشاملة ويجب أن تتابعها الحكومات ومنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة والمجتمع المدني وجميع أطراف الصراعات المسلحة.

(a) Conduct major information campaigns to raise awareness among the population and all parties to the conflict that acts of sexual violence are offences under criminal law, to break the taboos on sex crimes and to eliminate the stigmatization and exclusion of victims, which discourages them from lodging a complaint;
(أ) شنّ حملات إعلامية واسعة النطاق من أجل توعية السكان وجميع أطراف النزاع بأن أعمال العنف الجنسي تشكِّل جرائم بموجب القانون الجنائي، ومن أجل إسقاط المحرمات عن الجرائم الجنسية والقضاء على ما يصيب المجني عليهم من وصم واستبعاد يُثنيانهم عن تقديم الشكاوى؛
