2. Other non-governmental organizations wishing to be accredited may apply to the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Secretariat for this purpose in accordance with the following requirements:
٢ - يجوز لسائر المنظمات غير الحكومية الراغبة في اعتمادها أن تقدم طلبا لهذا الغرض الى وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية في اﻷمانة العامة ، وفقا للشروط التالية :

4. The Working Group will decide on the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Secretariat's recommendations for accreditation within 24 hours of the recommendations having been taken up by the Working Group.
٤ - ويبت الفريق العامل بالتوصيات التي قدمتها وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية في اﻷمانة العامة بصدد الاعتماد، خلال ٢٤ ساعة من شروعه في معالجتها.

102. The Non-Governmental Organizations Unit is located within the Division for Policy Coordination and Economic and Social Council Affairs of the Department for Policy Coordination and Sustainable Development.
٢٠١ - توجد وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية ضمن شعبة تنسيق السياسات وشؤون المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي التابعة ﻹدارة تنسيق السياسات والتنمية المستدامة.

" 3. Other non-governmental organizations wishing to be accredited may apply to the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Secretariat for this purpose, in accordance with the following requirements:
" ٣ - يجوز للمنظمات غير الحكومية اﻷخرى الراغبة في اعتمادها أن تقدم طلبا لهذا الغرض الى وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية في اﻷمانة العامة، وفقا للشروط التالية:

In that connection, they called for the strengthening of the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Department for Policy Coordination and Sustainable Development in view of the increasing volume of work generated by a growing number of non-governmental organizations in consultative status.
وفي هذا الصدد، طالبت هذه الدول بتعزيز وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية، التابعة لادارة تنسيق السياسات والتنمية المستدامة، في ضوء اطراد حجم العمل من جراء تزايد عدد المنظمات غير الحكومية ذات المركز الاستشاري.

The Non-Governmental Organizations Unit had recently been strengthened through internal redeployment in response to the concerns expressed by the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations and the Economic and Social Council.
ولقد تم مؤخرا تعزيز وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية من خلال اعادة توزيع داخلية، وذلك من منطلق الاستجابة لمشاعر القلق التي أعرب عنها من جانب اللجنة المعنية بالمنظمات غير الحكومية والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.

One Member State requested more information and better transparency on the accounting, mandate and budget of the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Department for Policy Coordination and Sustainable Development, as well as more information on the Unit's relation to the Non-Governmental Liaison Service and its budget and accounting procedures.
وطلبت دولة عضو زيادة المعلومات وتحسين الشفافية فيما يتعلق بحسابات وولاية وميزانية وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية التابعة ﻹدارة تنسيق السياسات والتنمية المستدامة، وكذلك زيادة المعلومات بشـأن علاقة الوحدة مع دائرة الاتصال مع المنظمات غير الحكومية، وميزانيتها وإجراءاتها المحاسبية.

3. Also requests the open-ended working group, in accordance with Council decision 1993/214, to examine ways and means of improving practical arrangements for the work of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations and of strengthening the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Secretariat;
٣ - يطلب أيضا الى الفريق العامل المفتوح العضوية، وفقا لمقرر المجلس ١٩٩٣/٢١٤، أن يدرس سبل ووسائل تحسين الترتيبات العملية من أجل العمل مع اللجنة المعنية بالمنظمات غير الحكومية وفي تعزيز وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية في اﻷمانة العامة؛

(a) The Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Secretariat shall be responsible for the receipt and preliminary evaluation of requests for accreditation received from non-governmental organizations;
)أ( تكون وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية لﻷمانة العامة مسؤولة عن استلام طلبات الاعتماد التي تردها من المنظمات غير الحكومية وتتولى إجراء تقييم أولي لها؛

3. In cases where the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit of the Secretariat believes, on the basis of the information provided in accordance with paragraph 2 above, that an organization has established its relevance to the work of the Working Group, it will recommend to the Working Group that the Organization be accredited.
٣ - في الحالات التي ترى فيها وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية في اﻷمانة العامة، على أساس المعلومات المقدمة وفقا للفقرة ٢ أعلاه، أن منظمة ما برهنت على صلتها بعمل الفريق العامل، فستوصي الفريق العام باعتماد المنظمة.

51. The Committee reiterated the importance of taking appropriate measures to enable the Non-Governmental Organizations Unit to discharge effectively its current mandate, as well as any additional mandate resulting from the decisions taken by the Council at its organizational session of 1993.
٥١ - وكررت اللجنة أهمية اتخاذ التدابير الملائمة لتمكين وحدة المنظمات غير الحكومية من الاضطلاع بولايتها الحالية بشكل فعال وكذلك بأية ولاية اضافية ناشئة عن المقررات التي يتخذها المجلس في دورته التنظيمية لعام ١٩٩٣.
