Finally, I should like to state the firm will of the people and the Government of Cuba to cooperate in the context of multilateral efforts to put an end, once and for all, to all terrorist acts, methods and practices, in all of their forms and manifestations.
وأخيرا، أود التأكيد على عزم شعب وحكومة كوبا عزما راسخا على المشاركة في الجهود المتعددة الأطراف لوضع حد نهائي لجميع الأعمال والأساليب والممارسات الإرهابية بكل أشكالها ومظاهرها.

The United Republic of Tanzania would like to reiterate its sympathy with the people and Government of Cuba and join other Members of the United Nations, whose number has been growing by the year, in calling for the ending of the embargo against the people and the Government of Cuba.
وتود حكومة جمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة أن تكرر تأكيد تعاطفها مع شعب وحكومة كوبا، وتضم صوتها إلى أصوات أعضاء الأمم المتحدة، الذين يزداد عددهم عاما بعد عام، والذين دعوا إلى إنهاء الحصار المفروض على شعب وحكومة كوبا.

Considering that in the abovementioned resolution it had requested the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to take steps to send a personal representative with a view to cooperation between his Office and the Government of Cuba in the implementation of the resolution,

The Cuban Minister for Foreign Affairs himself addressed the Assembly in the general debate inaugurating its sixty-sixth session. Speaking on behalf of the people and Government of Cuba, he said:

Before I conclude my remarks, let me just say a word or two about the embargo that has been imposed on the people and Government of Cuba since 1959 by the United States of America.
قبل أن أختتم ملاحظاتي، اسمحوا لي أن أقول مجرد كلمة أو اثنتين عن الحصار الذي تفرضه الولايات المتحدة على شعب وحكومة كوبا منذ عام 1959.

As a result of the incidents of 24 February, Cuba requested the publication as official documents of the General Assembly of numerous materials containing detailed information on the events, on the timely warnings made by the Cuban Government to the Government of the United States, and on the ongoing challenge presented by terrorist organizations operating in the United States against the will and sovereignty of the people and Government of Cuba.
