2. The report of the Group of Legal Experts on ensuring the accountability of United Nations staff and experts on mission with respect to criminal acts committed in peacekeeping operations (A/60/980) was transmitted to the General Assembly in August 2006 and presented to the Chairman of the Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations for that Committee's consideration.
2 - وتقرير فريق الخبراء القانونيين المعني بضمان مساءلة موظفي الأمم المتحدة وخبرائها الموفدين في بعثات عما يرتكب من أعمال إجرامية في عمليات حفظ السلام (A/60/980) أحيل إلى الجمعية العامة في آب/أغسطس 2006 وقدم إلى رئيس اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بعمليات حفظ السلام كي تنظر فيه اللجنة.

71. The Special Committee and the Sixth Committee were mandated to consider a first report of the Group of Legal Experts on ensuring the accountability of United Nations staff and experts on mission with respect to criminal acts committed in peacekeeping operations (A/60/980).
71 - وكُلفت اللجنة الخاصة واللجنة السادسة بالنظر في أول تقرير لفريق الخبراء القانونيين عن ضمان مساءلة موظفي الأمم المتحدة وخبرائها الموفدين في بعثات عما يرتكب من أفعال إجرامية في عمليات حفظ السلام (A/60/890).

3. For its consideration of the item, the Committee had before it the report of the Group of Legal Experts on ensuring the accountability of United Nations staff and experts on mission with respect to criminal acts committed in peacekeeping operations (A/60/980).1
3 - وكان معروضا على اللجنة من أجل النظر في البند تقرير فريق الخبراء القانونيين بشأن ضمان مساءلة موظفي الأمم المتحدة وخبرائها الموفدين في بعثات عما يُرتكب من أفعال إجرامية في عمليات حفظ السلام (A/60/980)().

14. The first report of the Group of Legal Experts on ensuring the accountability of United Nations staff and experts on mission with respect to criminal acts committed in peacekeeping operations (A/60/980) addressed the issue set out in paragraph 40 (a) of the Special Committee's report.
14 - وأضاف أن التقرير الأول لفريق الخبراء القانونيين عن ضمان مساءلة موظفي الأمم المتحدة وخبرائها الموفدين في بعثات عما يرتكب من أفعال إجرامية في عمليات حفظ السلام (A/60/980) عالج المسألة المذكورة في الفقرة 40 (أ) من تقرير اللجنة الخاصة.

The report of the Group of Legal Experts on ensuring the accountability of United Nations officials and experts on mission with respect to criminal acts committed in peacekeeping operations (see A/60/980), made a number of recommendations designed to overcome obstacles that exist in holding such personnel accountable for crimes committed during peacekeeping operations.
