The proposed merger of the International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women (INSTRAW) and the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) should be considered in that context.
إن مشروع دمج المعهد الدولي للبحث والتدريب من أجل النهوض بالمرأة وصندوق اﻷمم المتحدة الانمائي للمرأة يجب أن يدرس في هذا السياق.

1. Affirms that both the International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women and the United Nations Development Fund for Women should retain their comparative advantages in activities relating to the advancement of women;
١ - تؤكد على أن يحتفظ المعهد الدولي للبحث والتدريب من أجل النهوض بالمرأة وصندوق اﻷمم المتحدة الانمائي للمرأة، كلاهما بمزاياهما النسبية في مجال اﻷنشطة ذات الصلة بالنهوض بالمرأة؛

4. Also requests the Secretary-General, in this context, to include in his report consideration of the potential duplication of training activities of the International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women and the United Nations Development Fund for Women;
٤ - تطلب كذلك الى اﻷمين العام، في هذا السياق، أن يضمن تقريره دراسة لاحتمال حدوث ازدواجية في اﻷنشطة التدريبية للمعهد الدولي للبحث والتدريب من أجل النهوض بالمرأة وصندوق اﻷمم المتحدة الانمائي للمرأة؛

The proposed merger of the United Nations International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women and the United Nations Development Fund for Women must be studied very thoroughly before being implemented in order to ensure that the functions that contributed to the strengthening of research, action and training programmes for the advancement of women would be maintained.

171. The Food Aid programme for mothers and children (PAMI) was carried out by agreement with the World Food Programme and the United Nations Development Fund for Women.

1. The United Nations Centre for Human Rights and the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) organized an expert group meeting on the development of guidelines for the integration of gender perspectives into human rights activities and programmes from 3 to 7 July 1995 at the United Nations Office at Geneva.
١ - نظﱠم مركز اﻷمم المتحدة لحقوق اﻹنسان وصندوق اﻷمم المتحدة الانمائي للمرأة اجتماعا لفريق خبراء بشأن وضع مبادئ توجيهية لدمج اعتبارات الجنس في أنشطة وبرامج حقوق اﻹنسان في الفترة من ٣ إلى ٧ تموز/يوليه ٥٩٩١ بمكتب اﻷمم المتحدة في جنيف.

54. In cooperation with the Division for the Advancement of Women, the Centre and the United Nations Development Fund for Women will organize an expert group meeting on the drafting of specific gender-sensitive guidelines for the integration of the status and human rights of women into United Nations human rights activities and programmes of work.
