1. The evaluation function in UNICEF operates under the Evaluation Policy approved by the Executive Board in 2008.

An independent external panel would conduct a peer review of the evaluation function, the results of which would be included in the progress report on the evaluation function in UNICEF, to be submitted to the Executive Board at the annual session of 2006.
