The Advisory Committee notes that the reductions resulting from the phased reduction of 213 general temporary assistance positions during the 2010-2011 biennium (comprising 85 Professional and 128 General Service positions) would be mostly offset by the additional requirements for general temporary assistance to cover the functions of the posts to be abolished during 2010-2011 (see para. 48 above).
