3 - وطلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام، في قرارها 65/259، أن يعمل على وجه السرعة على تقييم حالة مرافق المؤتمرات في مقر اللجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا، وبخاصة قاعة أفريقيا وغرفة الاجتماعات ١، وأن يقدم تقريرا عن ذلك في سياق تقريره المرحلي السنوي المقبل.

In its resolution 65/259, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to expeditiously assess the status of conference facilities at the Commission, in particular Africa Hall and Conference Room 1, to ensure that they were in strict compliance with the highest international standards for conference facilities.
وطلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام، في قرارها 65/259، أن يعمل على وجه السرعة على تقييم حالة مرافق المؤتمرات في مقر اللجنة الاقتصادية لأفريقيا، وبخاصة قاعة أفريقيا وغرفة الاجتماعات 1، لضمان استيفائها على نحو تام لأعلى المعايير الدولية لمرافق المؤتمرات.

The General Assembly, in section III, paragraph 3, of its resolution 65/259, requested the Secretary-General to expeditiously assess the status of conference facilities at the Economic Commission for Africa, in particular Africa Hall and Conference Room 1, to ensure that they are in strict compliance with the highest international standards for conference facilities.

The Advisory Committee recalls that, in that resolution, the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to expeditiously assess the status of conference facilities at the Commission, in particular Africa Hall and Conference Room 1, to ensure that they were in strict compliance with the highest international standards for conference facilities.

In section III, paragraph 4, of General Assembly resolution 68/247, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General, as a matter of priority, to ensure that the renovation of conference facilities at the Commission, in particular Africa Hall and Conference Room 1, was carried out and to report thereon to the General Assembly at its sixty-ninth session.

Following the opening high-level session, parallel high-level interactive sessions on " Strengthening nuclear safety and nuclear disaster risk preparedness " will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in Conference Room 2 (NLB) and Conference Room 4 (NLB).

XI.28 The Advisory Committee further recalls that the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to expeditiously assess the status of conference facilities at the Economic Commission for Africa, in particular Africa Hall and Conference Room 1, and to report thereon in the context of his next annual progress report (resolution 65/259, part III, para. 3).
