It is the considered view of my delegation that national HIV/AIDS control efforts must be complemented with meaningful support from the international community, international financial institutions, civil society, the business community and the private sector.
ويرى وفدي أنه يجب استكمال الجهود الوطنية للسيطرة على الفيروس/الإيدز بدعم ذي مغزى من المجتمع الدولي، والمؤسسات المالية الدولية، والمجتمع المدني، ومجتمع الأعمال، والقطاع الخاص.

Finally, it seems quite legitimate to my delegation that the negative assurances that have so long been sought by the non-nuclear-weapon States that have committed themselves not to acquire such weapons should be given to them in order to dispel the climate of suspicion regarding a matter the fortunate outcome of which would benefit all mankind.
وأخيرا يرى وفدي أنه من المشروع أن تعطى الضمانات السلبية، التي طالما سعت إليها الدول غير الحائزة لﻷسلحة النووية التي التزمت بعدم حيازة هذه اﻷسلحة، إلى هذه الدول بغية إزالة مناخ الريبة بشأن مسألة ستستفيد البشرية كلها من نتائجها السعيدة.

It is the view of my delegation that, in order to progress in implementing the special session's Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS, the Fund must be strengthened and the process and procedures related to accessing resources through successful applications of the Global Fund should be accelerated.
وفي رأي وفدي أنه لكي نتقدم في تنفيذ إعلان الالتزام بشأن فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية/متلازمة نقص المناعة المكتسب (الإيدز) الصادر عن الدورة الاستثنائية، لا بد من تعزيز الصندوق، وينبغي تعجيل العملية والتدابير المتعلقة بإمكانية الحصول على الموارد من خلال تطبيقات ناجحة للصندوق العالمي.

It is in that context that my delegation deems it necessary to make the following interpretive statement.
وفي هذا السياق، يرى وفدي أنه من الضروري أن يدلي بالبيان التفسيري التالي.

The view of my delegation is that the Security Council must be reformed through increasing its membership from both developing and developed countries to ensure better geographical representation, and also to strengthen it in substance.
ويرى وفدي أنه ينبغي إصلاح مجلس الأمن عبر زيادة عضويته من بين البلدان النامية والمتقدمة النمو، لضمان تمثيل جغرافي أفضل وتعزيزه جوهريا أيضا.

It is my delegation's view that Africa should be allowed to benefit from nuclear energy without any constraints or obstacles being put in its way.
