• Permanent Ceasefire

The Permanent Ceasefire and the Final Security Arrangements shall be based on the following general principles:
يستـند وقف إطلاق النار الدائم والترتيبات الأمنية النهائيـة إلى المبادئ العامة التالية:

Coordinate planning, monitoring and verification of the implementation of the Permanent Ceasefire;
' 2` تنسيق التخطيط لتنفيذ وقف إطلاق النار الدائم ومراقبته والتحقق منـه؛

Be responsible for the interpretation of provisions of the Permanent Ceasefire and the Final Security Arrangements, when necessary;
' 2` مسؤولية تفسير أحكام وقف إطلاق النار الدائم والترتيبات الأمنية النهائية عند الضرورة؛

This is particularly important in the area of overall security, most significantly implementation of the Permanent Ceasefire Agreement.
ويكتسي هذا الأمر أهمية بالغة في مجال الأمن الشامل، ولا سيما تنفيذ اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الدائم.

Chapter VI -- Permanent Ceasefire and Final Security Arrangements
الفصل السادس - وقف إطلاق النار الدائم والترتيبات الأمنية النهائية

21. It should also be recalled that the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (section 12 of the Permanent Ceasefire protocol) expressly states that the parties to the Agreement would assume full responsibility for dealing with foreign armed groups.

88. The framework for security reflects UNMIS tasks related to the monitoring and verification of compliance of the parties with the Permanent Ceasefire and Security Arrangements of 9 January 2005.
88 - يبين الإطار المتعلق بالأمن مهام البعثة المتصلة برصد امتثال الأطراف لأحكام اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الدائم والترتيبات الأمنية المبرم في 9 كانون الثاني/يناير 2005، والتحقق من هذا الامتثال.

1. The two parties declare an immediate cessation of hostilities and decide to establish within a period of not more than one month technical teams with a mandate to decide on the mechanisms of the Permanent Ceasefire between the two belligerents.
1 - يعلن الطرفان عن الوقف الفوري لأعمال القتال ويقرران إنشاء أفرقة فنية في غضون مهلة لا تتجاوز شهرا واحدا، تكون مهمتها تحديد آليات وقف إطلاق النار الدائم بين الطرفين المتحاربين؛

In support of the implementation of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur, the Operation established, provided technical and logistics support for and operationalized key security mechanisms, including the Ceasefire Commission, sector ceasefire commissions and the ceasefire team site groups, which have the overall responsibility for the monitoring and implementation of the Permanent Ceasefire arrangements.

344. The CFC has the overall responsibility for the monitoring and implementation of the Permanent Ceasefire, and shall endeavour to make decisions by consensus.
344 - تضطلع لجنة وقف إطلاق النار بمسؤولية عامة لمراقبة وقف إطلاق النار الدائم وتنفيذه، وتسعـى جاهدة إلى اتخاذ القرارات بالإجماع.

12. Implementation of the provisions of the Permanent Ceasefire and final security arrangements by the Ceasefire Commission, headed by UNAMID, continued to face serious setbacks.
12 - أما مفوضية وقف إطلاق النار التي تتولى العمليةُ المختلطة رئاستها، فلا تزال تواجه انتكاسات شديدة في مسعاها إلى تنفيذ أحكام وقف إطلاق النار الدائم والترتيبات الأمنية النهائية.

Neither the Government of the United States nor any other body has a mandate to use force against Iraq. This is confirmed by the provisions of the Permanent Ceasefire as set forth in Security Council resolution 687 (1991).
إن حكومة الولايات المتحدة اﻷمريكية وغيرها ليست مخولة باستخدام القوة ضد العراق وذلك بموجب أحكام قرار وقف إطلاق النار الدائم الواردة في قرار مجلس اﻷمن ٨٧٦ )١٩٩١(.

(e) In the light of the provisions of the Permanent Ceasefire as reflected in resolution 687 (1991), neither the United States Government nor any other entity has the right to use force against Iraq.

54. I welcome the initialling on 31 December 2004 by the Government of the Sudan and SLM/A of the last two agreements of the north-south peace process, namely, the Agreement on the Implementation Modalities of the Protocols and Agreements, and the Agreement on the Permanent Ceasefire and Security Agreements Implementation Modalities.

105. The Permanent Ceasefire would enter into force 24 hours after the signing of the Final Peace Agreement, to be followed immediately by a transitional period of one month, during which the parties would prepare for the disarmament, demobilization and reintegration process and other steps enshrined in the Agreement.
105 - وسيبدأ نفاذ اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار الدائم بعد مضي 24 ساعة على توقيع اتفاق السلام الدائم، لتعقبه مباشرة فترة انتقالية لمدة شهر واحد، يجري فيها الطرفان استعداداتهما لتنفيذ عملية نزع السلاح والتسريح وإعادة الإدماج واتخاذ الخطوات الأخرى المنصوص عليها في الاتفاق.

43. The security framework relates to the monitoring and verification of the compliance of the parties with the Permanent Ceasefire and Security Arrangements of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement of 9 January 2005.
