7. The Agreement on Cessation of Hostilities of 18 June 2000 provided that Eritrea would restore its civilian administration, including police and local militia, in the Temporary Security Zone.
7 - ينص اتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية المؤرخ 18 حزيران/يونيه 2000 على أن تستعيد إريتريا إدارتها المدنية، التي تشمل الشرطة والميليشيا المحلية، في المنطقة الأمنية المؤقتة.

45. Despite the difficulties that have emerged recently, in particular with regard to the establishment of the Temporary Security Zone, Ethiopia and Eritrea have generally continued to demonstrate commitment to the implementation of the Agreement on Cessation of Hostilities of 18 June 2000 and the Agreement signed in Algiers on 12 December.
45 - رغم الصعوبات التي برزت مؤخرا، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بإنشاء المنطقة الأمنية المؤقتة، واصلت إثيوبيا وإريتريا عموما إظهار التزامهما بتنفيذ اتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية المؤرخ 18 حزيران/يونيه 2000 والاتفاق الموقع في الجزائر العاصمة في 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر.

2. The parties agreed in the Agreement on Cessation of Hostilities of 18 June 2000 (S/2000/601) to create a Temporary Security Zone, which would be a demilitarized area between the armed forces of both countries.
2 - وافق الطرفان في اتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية المؤرخ 18 حزيران/يونيه 2000 (S/2000/601) على إنشاء منطقة أمنية مؤقتة (المنطقة) منزوعة السلاح وتفصل بين القوات المسلحة للبلدين.

Reaffirming the integrity of the Temporary Security Zone (TSZ) as provided in the Agreement on Cessation of Hostilities of 18 June 2000 (S/2000/601) and recalling the objectives of its establishment and the commitment of the parties to respect the TSZ,
وإذ يعيد تأكيد سلامة المنطقة الأمنية المؤقتة المنصوص عليها في اتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية المؤرخ 18 حزيران/يونيه 2000 (S/2000/601)، وإذ يشير إلى الأهداف المتوخاة من إنشاء تلك المنطقة، وإلى التزام الطرفين باحترامها،

Stressing once again its unwavering commitment to the peace process and to the full and expeditious implementation of the Agreement on Cessation of Hostilities of 18 June 2000 (S/2000/601) and the Peace Agreement of 12 December 2000 (S/2000/1183) (hereinafter referred to as " the Algiers Agreements " ) as a basis for peaceful and cooperative relations between Ethiopia and Eritrea,
وإذ يشدد مرة أخرى على التزامه الراسخ بعملية السلام وبالتنفيذ الكامل والعاجل لاتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية المؤرخ 18 حزيران/يونيه 2000 (S/2000/601) واتفاق السلام المؤرخ 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000 (S/2000/1183) (والمشار إليهما فيما يلي بـ " اتفاقي الجزائر " ) بوصفهما أساسا لعلاقات السلام والتعاون بين إثيوبيا وإريتريا،

It should be recalled that, on 12 December 2000, the Governments of Ethiopia and Eritrea signed an Agreement which provides that the two parties shall permanently terminate military hostilities between themselves, shall refrain from the threat or use of force against each other, and shall respect and fully implement the provisions of the Agreement on Cessation of Hostilities of 18 June 2000 (S/2000/601, annex).
3 - تجدر الإشارة إلى أن حكومتي إثيوبيا وإريتريا وقعتا في 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000 اتفاقا ينص على أن ينهي الطرفان، بصورة دائمة، الأعمال العدائية بينهما، وأن يمتنع كل منهما عن التهديد باستعمال القوة أو استعمالها ضد الآخر، وأن يحترما وينفذا تنفيذا كاملا أحكام اتفاق وقف الأعمال العدائية المؤرخ 18 حزيران/يونيه 2000 (S/2000/601، المرفق).
