Commenting on the HIPC Initiative, my President, Mr. Benjamin William Mkapa, has had this to say:
وتعليقا على هذه المبادرة، تعيَّن على رئيس جمهورية بلادي السيد بنجامين وليام مكابا أن يقول ما يلي:

X. Commends further President Benjamin William Mkapa and his Government for their support to the facilitation and for their commitment to the restoration of peace and stability in Burundi and in the region of the Great Lakes.
عاشرا - يثني كذلك على الرئيس بينجامين وليام مكابا وحكومته لما قدماه من دعم للجهة القائمة بالتيسير ولالتزامهما بإحلال السلام والاستقرار في بوروندي ومنطقة البحيرات الكبرى.

4. The two parties thank the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Benjamin William Mkapa and his Government for facilitating the meeting between the Transitional Government of Burundi and PALIPEHUTU-FNL. Done at Dar-es-Salaam on 15 May 2005
4 - يجزي الطرفان الشكر لرئيس جمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة، فخامة السيد بنجامين وليام مكابا وحكومته على تيسير اللقاء بين الحكومة الانتقالية لبوروندي وحزب تحرير شعب الهوتو/قوات التحرير الوطنية.

12. The Fifth Regional Summit expressed its appreciation to President Benjamin William Mkapa for once again hosting the Regional Summit on the Burundi conflict and to the Government and the people of the United Republic of Tanzania for the warm reception and hospitality extended to all delegations.
١٢ - وأعرب مؤتمر القمة اﻹقليمي الخامس عن شكره للرئيس بنجامين وليام مكابا لاستضافته للمؤتمر اﻹقليمي المعني بنزاع بوروندي مرة أخرى ولحكومة وشعب جمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة للاستقبال الحار وحسن الضيافة التي أبدوها لجميع الوفود. ــ ــ ــ ــ ــ
