From the second day until the final day, working group sessions were organized on the following themes: microgravity science; education, outreach and capacity-building; and the Human Space Technology Initiative.

The programme also succeeded in increasing the number of opportunities for training in basic space technology and for research on zero-gravity environments as a result of the activities conducted within the framework the Basic Space Technology Initiative and the Human Space Technology Initiative.

The SBSTA further noted with appreciation the financial assistance provided by the Governments of Belgium, Norway and the United States of America, the European Community and the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI) for the successful implementation of the EGTT work programme for 2006.
78- ولاحظت الهيئة الفرعية كذلك مع التقدير المساعدة المالية المقدمة من حكومات بلجيكا والنرويج والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والجماعة الأوروبية ومبادرة تكنولوجيا المناخ من أجل التنفيذ الناجح لبرنامج عمل فريق الخبراء لعام 2006.

The EGTT expressed its appreciation for the financial contributions provided by the European Community, Norway, Sweden, the United States of America and the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI), which enabled the group to successfully implement its work programme for 2007.
8- أعرب فريق الخبراء المعني بنقل التكنولوجيا عن تقديره للتبرعات المالية التي قدمتها الجماعة الأوروبية، والنرويج والسويد والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية ومبادرة تكنولوجيا المناخ، التي مكنت الفريق من تنفيذ برنامج عمله لعام 2007 بنجاح.

The SBSTA took note of the organization of the workshop on technology needs assessments (TNAs) organized by the secretariat, in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility, the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Environment Programme and the Climate Technology Initiative, which took place on 1 and 2 June 2011 in Bonn, Germany.
37- أحاطت الهيئة الفرعية علماً بحلقة العمل المتعلقة بعمليات تقييم الاحتياجات التكنولوجية، التي نظمتها الأمانة بالتعاون مع مرفق البيئة العالمية، وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة، ومبادرة تكنولوجيا المناخ، يومي 1 و2 حزيران/ يونيه 2011 في بون بألمانيا.

The Committee noted with appreciation the implementation of the Programme's Basic Space Science Initiative and Basic Space Technology Initiative, as well as its preparation of the Human Space Technology Initiative, aimed at enhancing the participation of developing countries in scientific activities at the International Space Station.

The selected areas are environmental monitoring, natural resource management, satellite communications for tele-education and telemedicine applications, disaster risk reduction, the use of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), the Basic Space Science Initiative, space law, climate change, the Basic Space Technology Initiative and the Human Space Technology Initiative.

109. The SBI and the SBSTA welcomed the updated handbook Conducting Technology Needs Assessments for Climate Change (hereinafter referred to as the TNA handbook), jointly prepared by UNDP and the secretariat in collaboration with the EGTT and the Climate Technology Initiative.
109- ورحبت الهيئتان الفرعيتان بالطبعة المحدثة للدليل المعنون " تقييم الاحتياجات من التكنولوجيا في مجال تغيُّر المناخ " (يشار إليه فيما يلي بدليل التقييم)() التي شارك في إعدادها برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي والأمانة، بالتعاون مع فريق الخبراء المعني بنقل التكنولوجيا ومبادرة تكنولوجيا المناخ.

26.
