In this connection the countries of the region have expressed their readiness to interact with other regional organizations and initiatives such as the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Central European Initiative, and the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.
وفي هذا الصدد، أعربت بلدان المنطقة عن استعدادها للتفاعل مع المنظمات والمبادرات اﻹقليمية اﻷخرى، التي من قبيل منظمة اﻷمن والتعاون في أوروبا ومبادرة وسط أوروبا والتعاون الاقتصادي بمنطقة البحر اﻷسود.

The Conference also underlined the complementarity between the Adriatic and Ionian cooperative network and the activities carried out by other organizations and initiatives in the region, particularly those provided for by the Stability Pact for South-Eastern Europe and the Central European Initiative.
كما يؤكد المؤتمر على التكامل بين شبكة التعاون الأدرياتي الأيوني والأنشطة التي تضطلع بها المنظمات والمبادرات الأخرى في المنطقة، ولا سيما تلك التي يضطلع بأعبائها ميثاق الاستقرار لجنوب شرقي أوروبا ومبادرة وسط أوروبا.

6. Croatia was well aware of the importance of regional stability for creating an enabling environment for investment and it supported and participated in several regional initiatives such as the Stability Pact for South-East Europe and the Central European Initiative.

The importance of interaction and coordination with other initiatives for regional cooperation, such as the Royaumont Initiative of the European Union, the South-east European Cooperative Initiative, the Black Sea Economic Cooperation and the Central European Initiative, was also emphasized.

There is also considerable cooperation between the ECE and the Eurasian Economic Community, the Eurasian Development Bank, the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation and the Central European Initiative in the areas of agricultural standards, enterprise development, energy efficiency and road safety.

4. Since the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and a Cooperation Agreement between ECE and the Central European Initiative (CEI) in May 1998, a meeting has been held annually in Geneva to review the ongoing cooperation and to agree on future joint activities.
4 - ومنذ التوقيع على مذكرة التفاهم والاتفاق بشأن التعاون بين اللجنة الاقتصادية لأوروبا ومبادرة وسط أوروبا في أيار/مايو 1998، يجري عقد اجتماع سنوي في جنيف لاستعراض التعاون الجاري وللاتفاق على الأنشطة المشتركة التي سيضطلع بها في المستقبل.

The Ministers recognize that, in view of the existence of various initiatives for region-wide cooperation in the economic field, such as the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, the Central European Initiative and the South-east European Cooperative Initiative, closer coordination and better processing of information is necessary in order to avoid duplication and to derive maximum benefit for all the countries of the region.
ويسلم الوزراء بأنه، بالنظر إلى وجود مبادرات مختلفة للتعاون على نطاق المنطقة في الميدان الاقتصادي، مثل منظمة التعاون الاقتصادي في منطقة البحر اﻷسود، ومبادرة وسط أوروبا ومبادرة التعاون في جنوب شرق أوروبا، من الضروري تحقيق تنسيق أوثق وتجهيز أفضل للمعلومات بغية تلافي الازدواج ولتحقيق أقصى فائدة لجميع بلدان المنطقة.

ECE intensified its relationships with relevant organizations in the region, such as the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, OECD, the European Union, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Council of Europe and subregional organizations such as the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Central European Initiative and the Council of Baltic States.
٣٤٧ - وقد كثفت اللجنة الاقتصادية ﻷوروبا علاقاتها بالمنظمات ذات الصلة في المنطقة، ومنها مثلا منظمة اﻷمن والتعاون في أوروبا، ومنظمة التعاون والتنمية في الميدان الاقتصادي، والاتحاد اﻷوروبي، والمصرف اﻷوروبي لﻹنشاء والتعمير، ومجلس أوروبا، والمنظمات دون اﻹقليمية، مثل مجلس التعاون الاقتصادي في منطقة البحر اﻷسود ورابطة الدول المستقلة ومبادرة وسط أوروبا ومجلس دول البلطيق.
