6. Sites contaminated by mercury and mercury compounds.
6 - المواقع الملوّثة بالزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق.

" Mercury and mercury compounds " means the substances listed in Annex B;
(ﻫ) " الزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق " يعني المواد المدرجة في المرفق باء؛

4. Parties may cooperate with one another and with relevant intergovernmental organizations and other entities, as appropriate, to develop and maintain global, regional and national capacity for the long-term environmentally sound storage of mercury and mercury compounds.
4 - يجوز للأطراف أن تتعاون مع بعضها البعض، وكذلك مع المنظمات الحكومية الدولية المختصة والكيانات الأخرى، حسب الاقتضاء، لتطوير القدرة العالمية والإقليمية والوطنية للتخزين الطويل الأجل السليم بيئياً للزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق والحفاظ عليها.

1. Each Party shall endeavour to remediate sites contaminated by mercury and mercury compounds in an environmentally sound manner, taking into consideration guidance developed under paragraph 3.
1 - يسعى كل طرف لإصلاح المواقع الملوّثة بالزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق بطريقة سليمة بيئياً، مع مراعاة التوجيهات التي توضع بمقتضى الفقرة 3.

Each Party shall reduce releases of mercury and mercury compounds to water and land from the sources in the categories listed in Annex G.
1 - على كل طرف أن يخفِّض مقادير الإطلاق من انبعاثات الزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق في المياه والأراضي من مصادر واردة في الفئات المدرجة في المرفق زاي.

4. Parties shall cooperate, as appropriate, with each other and with relevant intergovernmental organizations and other entities, to enhance capacity-building for the environmentally sound interim storage of such mercury and mercury compounds.
4 - تتعاون الأطراف، وفقاً للمقتضى، مع بعضها البعض ومع المنظمات الحكومية الدولية المختصة والكيانات الأخرى، لتعزيز بناء القدرات من أجل التخزين المؤقّت السليم بيئياً للزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق.

4. Parties shall cooperate, as appropriate, with each other and with relevant intergovernmental organizations and other entities, to enhance capacity-building for the environmentally sound interim storage of such mercury and mercury compounds. Article 11
4 - تتعاون الأطراف، وفقاً للمقتضى، مع بعضها البعض ومع المنظمات الحكومية الدولية المختصة والكيانات الأخرى، لتعزيز بناء القدرات من أجل التخزين المؤقّت السليم بيئياً للزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق.

2. To facilitate the evaluation, the Conference of the Parties shall, at its first meeting, initiate the establishment of arrangements for providing itself with comparable monitoring data on the presence and movement of mercury and mercury compounds in the environment as well as trends in levels of mercury and mercury compounds observed in biotic media and vulnerable populations.
2 - ولتيسير التقييم، يبدأ مؤتمر الأطراف، إبان اجتماعه الأول، بوضع الترتيبات لتزويده ببيانات رصد مقارنة عن وجود الزئبق ومركبات الزئبق وانتقالها في البيئة، وكذلك الاتجاهات في مستويات الزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق الملاحَظة في الأوساط الأحيائية والفئات السكانية الضعيفة.

Assessments of the impact of mercury and mercury compounds on human health and the environment, in addition to social, economic and cultural impacts, particularly in respect of vulnerable communities;
(ج) تقييم تأثير الزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق على الصحة البشرية والبيئية بالإضافة إلى الآثار الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والثقافية، ولا سيما فيما يتعلق بالمجتمعات الضعيفة؛

Each Party shall take measures to control, minimize, and where feasible eliminate or prevent releases of mercury and mercury compounds to the water and land from the source categories listed in the Annex. (CRP.12 para 2)
على كل طرف أن يتخذ التدابير الرامية إلى مراقبة الانبعاثات المطلقة من الزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق في المياه والأراضي من فئات المصادر المدرجة في المرفق وتقليله إلى أدنى حدّ، حيثما كان ذلك ممكناً، إزالة أو منع هذه الانبعاثات المطلقة. (الفقرة 2 في ورقة الاجتماع CRP.12)

" Environmentally sound storage of mercury and mercury compounds " means storage of mercury and mercury compounds in a manner consistent with the guidance on environmentally sound storage adopted, updated or revised by the Conference of the Parties under Article 4;
(ج) " التخزين السليم بيئياً للزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق " يعني تخزين الزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق بطريقة تتفق مع التوجيهات بشأن التخزين السليم بيئياً، المعتمدة والمحدّثة أو المنقّحة من جانب مؤتمر الأطراف بموجب المادة 4؛

1. Each Party shall manage mercury and the mercury compounds listed in Annex B in a manner consistent with the guidance on environmentally sound storage adopted, updated or revised by the Conference of the Parties pursuant to this article.
1 - على كل طرف أن يقوم بإدارة الزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق المدرجة في المرفق باء على نحو يتفق مع التوجيهات المتعلقة بالتخزين السليم بيئياً المعتَمَدة أو المحدّثة أو المنقّحة من جانب مؤتمر الأطراف عملاً بهذه المادة.

2. The Conference of the Parties shall at its first meeting adopt guidance on the environmentally sound storage of mercury and the mercury compounds listed in Annex B. The ultimate objective of the guidance shall be that all mercury from primary mercury mining or the supply sources listed in Annex A shall be stored in an environmentally sound manner.
2 - يقوم مؤتمر الأطراف في اجتماعه الأول باعتماد توجيهات بشأن التخزين السليم بيئياً للزئبق ومركّبات الزئبق المسرَدة في المرفق باء. والهدف النهائي من التوجيهات هو تخزين جميع الزئبق من التعدين الأوّلي للزئبق أو من مصادر العرض المدرَجة في المرفق ألف بطريقة سليمة بيئياً.
