Internationally, the Global Programme against Trafficking in Human Beings elaborated by the Centre for International Crime Prevention and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute had the potential to help the international community better respond to the worldwide problems of smuggling of migrants and trafficking in women.
وعلى الصعيد الدولي، ذكرت أن البرنامج العالمي لمناهضة الاتجار بالبشر الذي وضعه مركز مكافحة الجريمة الدولية ومعهد اﻷمم المتحدة اﻷقاليمي ﻹبحاث الجريمة والعدالة بإمكانه مساعدة المجتمع الدولي على التصدي بشكل أفضل للمشكلتين العالميتين المتمثلتين في تهريب المهاجرين والاتجار بالنساء.

Summary The workshop on combating corruption will deal with issues related to the prevention and control of corruption using a multidisciplinary approach, as advocated in the Global Programme against Corruption of the Centre for International Crime Prevention and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute.

The eleventh coordination meeting of the network was convened by the Division at Courmayeur, Italy, in October 1996, at the invitation of the International Scientific and Professional Advisory Council (ISPAC) and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute.

In response to that call, the Global Programme consists of an integrated package of policy-oriented research and targeted technical cooperation to be carried out by the United Nations Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute.

The Centre for International Crime Prevention and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute have prepared a Global Programme against Trafficking in Human Beings, in order to enable Governments and the international community to respond better to the worldwide problems of smuggling of migrants and trafficking in human beings (see E/CN.15/1999/CRP.2).

The Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention of the Secretariat has recently launched a Global Programme against Corruption (E/CN.15/1999/CRP.3), to be undertaken jointly by the Centre for International Crime Prevention and UNICRI.
٣- وكان مكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة التابع لﻷمانة العامة قد أطلق في الفترة اﻷخيرة برنامجا عالميا لمكافحة الفساد (E/CN.15/1999/CRP.3) لكي يشترك في الاضطلاع به المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي ومعهد اﻷمم المتحدة اﻷقاليمي ﻷبحاث الجريمة والعدالة.
