31- ونصت المادة 168 من قانون الجرائم والعقوبات على أنه: " يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد عن سنة أو بالغرامة كل موظف عام استعمل القسوة مع الناس اعتمادا على سلطة وظيفته بغير حق بحيث أخل بشرفهم أو أحدث آلاماً بأبدانهم دون إخلال بحق المجني عليه في القصاص والدية والأرش.

according to article 243 of the Code: " A punishment identical to the crime itself shall be inflicted on anyone who commits an assault of any kind against another person, causing him to suffer a permanent physical disability, by breaking one of his joints, plucking out an eye, amputating an ear or inflicting a measurable bodily wound.
36- ونصت المادة 243 على أنه: " يعاقب بالقصاص بمثل ما فعل كل من اعتدى على غيره بأي وسيلة وألحق بجسمه عمداً عاهة مستديمة بأن قضم له مفصلاً أو قلع له عيناً أو صلم لـه أذناً أو أحدث به جرحاً يمكن ضبط مقداره.

according to article 244 of the Code: " A penalty of indemnity for bodily injury (arsh) and up to one year's imprisonment, or the indemnity plus a fine, shall be imposed on anyone who commits an assault of any kind against the physical integrity of another person, inflicting an injury that cannot be measured or damaging to his health.
37- ونصت المادة 244 على أنه: " يعاقب بالأرش والحبس مدة لا تزيد على سنة أو الأرش والغرامة من اعتدى على سلامة جسم غيره بأي وسيلة وأحدث به جرحاً لا ينضبط مقداره أو تسبب في ضرر بالصحة إذا لم ينجم عن الاعتداء مرض أو عجز عن الأعمال الشخصية مدة تزيد عن عشرين يوماً.

113- ونصت المادة 243 من هذا القانون على أنه: " يعاقب بالقصاص بمثل ما فعل كل من اعتدى على غيره بأي وسيلة وألحق بجسمه عمداً عاهة مستديمة بأن قضم له مفصلاً أو قلع له عيناً أو صلم له أذناً أو أحدث به جرحاً يمكن ضبط مقداره.

(c) according to article 17, paragraph 1, of the same Act, an accused person shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by a court verdict; however, legal proceedings may be taken against him as long as he remains an accused person;
(ج) ونصت المادة السابعة عشرة من نفس القانون في فقرتها الأولى على أن المتهم برئ إلى أن تثبت إدانته بحكم قضائي. ومع ذلك، يجوز اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية ضده ما دام متهماً؛

235. according to article 131 of the Children's Rights Act, trials of minors must be conducted in camera with only relatives, witnesses, lawyers and social workers attending. It is prohibited to publish a child's name and picture or the facts or a summary of a case in any type of publication.
٢٣٥- ونصت المادة ١٣١ من قانون حقوق الطفل على أن تجرى محاكمة الحدث بصورة سرية ولا يجوز أن يحضر محاكمة الحدث إلا أقاربه والشهود والمحامون والمراقبون الاجتماعيون كما يحظر نشر اسم وصورة الحدث أو نشر وقائع المحاكمة أو ملخصها في أي وسيله من وسائل النشر.
