African countries should capitalize on this understanding to negotiate for increased financial assistance, sound investments and transfer of environmentally sound technologies.

By paragraph 2 of decision SC-2/9, the Conference of the Parties requested the Secretariat to submit a report based on the information to be provided pursuant to paragraph 1 of the same decision and any other pertinent information on progress in the application of the guidance on technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technology.
5 - وقد طلب مؤتمر الأطراف في الفقرة 2 من المقرر اتفاقية استكهولم - 2/9 من الأمانة أن تقدم تقريراً يستند إلى المعلومات التي تقدم طبقاً للفقرة 1 من نفس المقرر وأي معلومات أخرى ذات صلة بالتقدم المحرز في تطبيق التوجيه الخاص بالمساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً.

Developing and conducting training programmes, workshops, seminars and associated projects on the environmentally sound management of hazardous wastes, the transfer of environmentally sound technology and the minimization of hazardous waste generation, with specific emphasis on training trainers and promoting the ratification and implementation of the Convention and its instruments;
(أ) وضع وتنفيذ برامج تدريب، وحلقات عمل، وحلقات دراسية ومشاريع ذات صلة بالإدارة السليمة بيئياً للنفايات الخطرة، ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً والتقليل إلى أدنى حدّ من توليد النفايات الخطرة، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على تدريب المدرّبين وتعزيز التصديق على الاتفاقية والصكوك الملحقة بها وتنفيذها؛

It also provides that priority consideration should be given to the provision of technical assistance and the transfer of environmentally sound technologies relevant to the areas listed in paragraph 10 of that guidance.
كما تنص هذه الفقرة على أنه ينبغي إيلاء أولوية لتوفير المساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً ذات الصلة بالمجالات الواردة في الفقرة 10 من هذه التوجيهات.

The Secretariat has on a regular basis taken steps to raise awareness of the guidance on technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technologies set forth in the annex to decision SC-1/15.

Pursuant to paragraphs 3 and 4 of Article 12 of the Convention, technical assistance to be provided by developed country Parties, and other Parties in accordance with their capabilities, should include, as appropriate and as mutually agreed, technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technologies for capacity-building relating to the implementation of Parties' obligations under the Convention.

Regional and subregional centres must be able to demonstrate expertise in capacity-building or technology transfer, in one or more of the areas listed in paragraph 10 of the guidance on technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technologies contained set forth in the annex to decision decision SC-1/15.

At its first meeting, the Conference of the Parties of the Stockholm Convention adopted the guidance on technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technologies set forth in the annex to decision SC-1/15 and requested the Secretariat to report on progress in the application of the guidance at each meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
29 - وفي اجتماعه الأول اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية استكهولم التوجيه بشأن المساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً الذي يرد في مرفق المقرر ا س - 1/15، وطلب إلى الأمانة أن تقدم في كل اجتماع لمؤتمر الأطراف تقريراً عن التقدم المحرز في تطبيق التوجيه.

Monitor and assess the financial support and performance of development and transfer of environmentally sound technologies in terms of speed, range and size of the technological flow;
(ج) رصد وتقييم الدعم المالي والأداء المالي في تطوير ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً من ناحية السرعة والنطاق وحجم التدفق التكنولوجي؛

At its first meeting, the Conference of the Parties adopted the guidance on technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technologies set forth in the annex to decision SC-1/15 and requested the Secretariat to report on progress in the application of the guidance on technical assistance at each meeting of the Conference of the Parties.
وقد اعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف في اجتماعه الأول توجيهاً بشأن المساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً ورد في مرفق مقرر اتفاقية استكهولم - 1/15 وطلب إلى الأمانة تقديم تقرير عن التقدم المحرز في تطبيق التوجيه بشأن المساعدة التقنية في كل اجتماع من اجتماعات مؤتمر الأطراف.

To request the Secretariat to submit a report, based on the information to be provided pursuant to (a) above and any other pertinent information, on progress in the application of the guidance on technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technology.
(ب) الطلب من الأمانة أن تقدم تقريراً بالاستناد إلى المعلومات المقرر توفيرها عملاً بالفقرة (أ) أعلاه وأية معلومات أخرى وثيقة الصلة بالموضوع، عن التقدم المحرز في تطبيق التوجيهات بشأن المساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً.

(a) Developing and conducting training programmes, workshops, seminars and associated projects in the field of the environmentally sound management of hazardous wastes, transfer of environmentally sound technology and minimization of the generation of hazardous wastes, with specific emphasis on training of trainers and the promotion of ratification and implementation of the Convention and its instruments;
(أ) وضع وإجراء برامج تدريب وحلقات تدريب عملية وحلقات علمية ومشروعات ذات صلة في مجال الإدارة السليمة بيئياً للنفايات الخطرة ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً وتدنية توليد النفايات الخطرة، مع التركيز بصفة خاصة على تدريب المدربين وتشجيع التصديق على، الاتفاقية وصكوكها وتنفيذها؛

To request the Secretariat to submit a report based on the information provided pursuant to subparagraph 10 (b) above and any other pertinent information on progress in the application of the guidance on technical assistance and transfer of environmentally sound technology.
(ﻫ) أن يطلب إلى الأمانة أن تقدم تقريراً يستند إلى المعلومات المقدمة طبقاً للفقرة الفرعية 10 (ب) أعلاه وأي معلومات أخرى ذات صلة بشأن التقدم المحرز في تطبيق التوجيه بشأن المساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً.

(h) Without prejudice to future decisions, the process of nominating centres to serve as regional and subregional centres for capacity-building and the transfer of environmentally sound technology under the Stockholm Convention may be facilitated by the Secretariat as appropriate and will be done within existing budgetary resources.
(ح) دون مساس بالمقررات التي تتخذ مستقبلاً، يجوز للأمانة أن تعمد، حسب الاقتضاء، إلى تيسير عملية ترشيح مراكز لتعمل بوصفها مراكز إقليمية ودون إقليمية لبناء القدرات ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً بموجب اتفاقية استكهولم، وأن تفعل ذلك في حدود موارد الميزانية القائمة.

the transfer of environmentally sound technologies (TEST) is an integrated approach used by UNIDO to support industries to maximize productivity through sound management practices and promoting zero discharge.
24- ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً نهج متكامل تستخدمه اليونيدو لتمكين الصناعات من تعظيم الإنتاجية من خلال ممارسات الإدارة السليمة وتشجيع التوقف عن طرح النفايات.

By its decision SC-3/12 the Conference of the Parties adopted terms of reference for the selection of regional and subregional centres for capacity-building and the transfer of environmentally sound technologies under the Convention.
واعتمد مؤتمر الأطراف في مقرر اتفاقية استكهولم - 3/12 اختصاصات لاختيار المراكز الإقليمية ودون الإقليمية لبناء القدرات ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً بموجب الاتفاقية.

By paragraph 8 of decision SC-5/20, the Conference of the Parties requested the secretariat to continue to implement its technical assistance programme as an integral part of its work to facilitate the delivery of technical assistance and the transfer of environmentally sound technologies set out in decision SC-1/15.
13 - طلب مؤتمر الأطراف إلى الأمانة، بموجب الفقرة 8 من المقرر ا س - 5/20، أن تواصل تنفيذ برنامج المساعدة التقنية كجزء لا يتجزأ من عملها لتيسير تنفيذ المساعدة التقنية ونقل التكنولوجيا السليمة بيئياً المنصوص عليهما في المقرر ا س - 1/15.
