As recommended by the General Assembly in its resolution 56/40 and in accordance with the decisions of the 2001 General Meeting of the United Nations and the League of Arab States, a sectoral meeting on the use of information technology in development between the United Nations and the League of Arab States was held in Cairo from 18 to 20 June 2002.
48 - طبقا لما أوصت به الجمعية العامة في قرارها 56/40 ووفقا لمقررات اجتماع 2001 العام للأمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية، عُقد اجتماع قطاعي معني باستخدام تكنولوجيا المعلومات في التنمية، اشتركت في تنظيمه الأمم المتحدة وجامعة الدول العربية، في القاهرة في الفترة من 18 إلى 20 تموز/يوليه 2002.
