" Monetary compensation of Forces personnel " (hereinafter referred to as " monetary compensation " ) shall mean the amount of money paid each month to Forces personnel for carrying out their tasks during the peacekeeping operation;

" Party " means a State, or a regional economic integration organization that is a member of a specialized agency of the United Nations, participating in the work of the intergovernmental negotiating committee for a global legally binding instrument on mercury (hereinafter referred to as the committee).

(a) After the transmission of concluding observations by the Committee for Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (hereinafter referred to as the Committee), a letter was sent to all competent ministries and boards of the National Assembly including detailed information on the submission of the initial report and the translation of the received concluding observations of the Committee;
(أ) بعد قيام اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة (ويشار إليها فيما بعد باسم اللجنة) بإحالة الملاحظات الختامية، وجهت رسالة إلى جميع الوزارات المختصة والمجالس التابعة للجمعية الوطنية تحتوي على معلومات تفصيلية عن تقديم التقرير الأولي وترجمة للملاحظات الختامية الواردة من اللجنة؛

The objective of the procedures and institutional mechanisms (hereinafter referred to as " the procedures " ) is to assist Parties to comply with their obligations under the Convention and to facilitate, promote, monitor, assist in, advise on and aim to secure the implementation of and compliance with the obligations under the Convention.

1.
