12. also invites Parties, international organizations, the private sector and civil society to become more involved with the Regional Coordination Mechanisms process by, inter alia, providing technical and financial support to the process and to the Regional Coordination Units, including through voluntary contributions to the Supplementary Fund and contributions in-kind, as appropriate;

2. also invites Parties to assess and increase the effectiveness of their means of communication on desertification, land degradation and drought-related issues with a view to reaching larger audiences and raising not only the profile of desertification, land degradation and drought, but also the profile of the Convention;

also invites Parties to work through the United Nations and other relevant institutions, specialized agencies and processes, as appropriate, to promote coherence at all levels in approaches relevant to addressing loss and damage associated with the adverse effects of climate change, including extreme events and slow onset events;
