3. requests the Secretary-General to proceed with the development of the 2000 World Population and Housing Census Programme and to make the necessary preparations with a view to assisting countries in the successful implementation of the Programme.
٣ - يرجو من اﻷمين العام أن يشرع في وضع برنامج عالمي لتعداد السكان والمساكن لعام ٢٠٠٠، وأن يقوم بكافة اﻷعمال التحضيرية اللازمة من أجل مساعدة البلدان في تنفيذه بنجاح.

١٧ - يرجو من اﻷمين العام أن يتابع تنفيذ هذا القرار، مع الاهتمام بصفة خاصة بترتيبات التنسيق والتكامل لتحقيق أقصى حد من الكفاءة ﻷنشطة المساعدة التي تضطلع بها مختلف مؤسسات منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، وأن يقدم تقريرا في هذا الشأن إلى المجلس في دورته الموضوعية لعام ١٩٩٥؛

٤١ - يرجو من اﻷمين العام أن يطلع مجلس اﻷمن بانتظــام علـى الحقائــق وأن يقدم إليه تقريرا بحلول ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٩ وتقريرا كل ٩٠ يوما بعد ذلك فيما يختص بالتطورات المستجدة في غينيا - بيساو وأنشطة مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة لدعم بناء السلام في غينيا - بيساو فيما بعد الصراع وتنفيذ اتفاق أبوجا، بما فيه تنفيذ فريق الرصد لولايته؛
