6. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to discuss the issue of prison overcrowding in the context of technical cooperation at its eighth session, with a view to achieving greater international cooperation in that area;
٦ - يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تناقش مسألة اكتظاظ السجون في دورتها الثامنة في سياق التعاون التقني، بغية تحقيق المزيد من التعاون الدولي في هذا المجال؛

9. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to continue to give special attention to the use and application of United Nations standards and norms in crime prevention and criminal justice;

12. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to act as a focal point in order to facilitate the coordination of efforts and relevant activities of other entities of the United Nations system and to closely cooperate with other intergovernmental organizations to maximize the impact of efforts in the field;
٢١ - يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تؤدي دور جهة محورية تنسق الجهود، واﻷنشطة ذات الصلة بالموضوع التي تضطلع بها سائر الهيئات المشمولة بمنظومة اﻷمم المتحدة، وأن تتعاون على نحو وثيق مع المنظمات الدولية الحكومية اﻷخرى على مضاعفة تأثير الجهود في هذا الميدان؛

1. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to consider measures on the prevention and suppression of illicit trafficking in motor vehicles and requests the Secretary-General to seek the views of Governments and relevant organizations on this matter and to report to the Commission at its sixth session;
١ - يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تنظر في تدابير بشأن منع الاتجار غير المشروع بالسيارات وقمعه، ويطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يلتمس آراء الحكومات والمنظمات المختصة بشأن هذه المسألة وأن يرفع تقريرا الى اللجنة في دورتها السادسة؛

6. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to review the membership and databases of the United Nations Crime and Justice Information Network, with a view to increasing the participation in the Network of Member States, relevant intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations and academic and other research institutions;
٦ - يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تستعرض العضوية في شبكة اﻷمم المتحدة لمعلومات الجريمة والعدالة، وقواعد بيانات الشبكة، بهدف زيادة المشاركة في الشبكة من جانب الدول اﻷعضاء والمنظمات الدولية الحكومية وغير الحكومية المختصة والمؤسسات اﻷكاديمية وغيرها من مؤسسات البحوث؛

9. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to consider the utilization of experts of interested Member States to advise the Secretary-General on technical cooperation projects related to paragraph 7 above, including their funding by the public and private sectors;
٩ - يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تنظر في الاستعانة بخبراء من الدول اﻷعضاء المهتمة في إسداء المشورة الى اﻷمين العام بشأن مشاريع التعاون التقني ذات الصلة بالفقرة ٧ أعلاه، بما في ذلك تمويل هذه المشاريع من موارد القطاعين العام والخاص؛

10. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice and the Secretary-General, when implementing the above-mentioned recommendations, to take account of work already being carried out in the United Nations and other international organizations, such as the Council of Europe, in comparing national crime and criminal justice databases.
١٠ - يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية واﻷمين العام، عند قيامهما بتنفيذ التوصيات اﻵنفة الذكر أن يضعا في اعتبارهما ما يجري تنفيذه بالفعل في اﻷمم المتحدة وغيرها من المنظمات الدولية، مثل مجلس أوروبا، من أعمال في مجال مقارنة قواعد البيانات الوطنية بشأن الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية؛

7. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to examine ways and means of facilitating an effective exchange of information concerning national experience in this area and possible ways to promote awareness among Member States of the issues of mediation and restorative justice;
٧ - يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تنظر في السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بتيسير تبادل فعال للمعلومات المتعلقة بالخبرات الوطنية في هذا المجال ، والسبل الممكنة لتعزيز وعي الدول اﻷعضاء بمسائل الوساطة والعدالة التصالحية ؛

12. requests the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to act as focal point in order to facilitate coordination of efforts and relevant activities of other entities of the United Nations system and to closely cooperate with other intergovernmental organizations to maximize the impact of efforts in the field;

٠١ ـ يطلب الى لجنة منع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية أن تبقي أداء المعهد وبرنامج عمله قيد الاستعراض النشط، بغية ادماجه تماما في البرنامج الشامل لمنع الجريمة والعدالة الجنائية، وذلك وفقا لما دعت اليه الفقرة ٥٣ من مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة ٦٤/٢٥١.
