(a) A former staff member who is re-employed shall be given a new appointment unless he or she is reinstated under staff rule 4.18 below.
(أ) الموظف السابق الذي يعاد توظيفه يُمنح تعيينا جديدا أو يُرد إلى وضعه السابق وفقا لأحكام القاعدة 4/18 أدناه.

Re-employment (a) A former staff member who is re-employed under conditions established by the Secretary-General shall be given a new appointment unless he or she is reinstated under staff rule 4.18.

Reinstatement (a) A former staff member who held a fixed-term or continuing appointment and who is re-employed under a fixed-term or a continuing appointment within 12 months of separation from service may be reinstated if the Secretary-General considers that such reinstatement would be in the interest of the Organization.
(أ) الموظف السابق الذي عمل بموجب تعيين محدد المدة أو تعيين مستمر والذي يعاد توظيفه بموجب تعيين محدد المدة أو تعيين مستمر في غضون اثني عشر شهرا من تاريخ انتهاء خدمته يمكن رده إلى وضعه السابق إذا ارتأى الأمين العام أن هذه الإعادة إلى الوضع السابق ستكون في صالح المنظمة.
