According to the Chinese law, the child is considered to have the nationality of his father and has no right to obtain the nationality of his Chinese mother.

Article 7, paragraph 2, of the Convention on the Rights of the Child explicitly requires States parties to ensure the implementation of the right to acquire a nationality in accordance with their national legislation and their obligations under the relevant international human rights instruments, in particular where the child would otherwise be stateless.

If only one of the parents is a citizen of Georgia, the child is considered a citizen of Georgia if it was born in Georgian territory, born abroad but one of its parents is a permanent resident of Georgia, or if the other parent is a stateless person or is unknown.
