The draft resolution recommended that the Secretary-General should appoint a Special Representative on violence against children, whose mandate would be to promote the prevention and elimination of all forms of violence against children.
وتم تقديم توصية إلى الأمين العام لكي يعين ممثلا خاصا بشأن العنف الذي يواجهه الأطفال، ومهمته تتمثل في تعزيز منع جميع أشكال العنف الموجه ضد الأطفال والقضاء عليها.

30. The Special Rapporteur welcomes Commission resolution 2000/61 in which the Commission requested the SecretaryGeneral to appoint a Special Representative to report on the situation of human rights defenders in all parts of the world.

In 2005, the Commission, in resolution 2005/69, requested the Secretary-General to appoint a Special Representative on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises.

In view of the adoption by the Commission on Human Rights at its fifty-sixth session of resolution 2000/61 on human rights defenders, in which the Commission requested the Secretary-General to appoint a Special Representative to report on the situation of human rights defenders, the Special Rapporteur would like to address the issue of torture and human rights defenders.

٥- ترجو من اﻷمين العام أن يعين ممثلا خاصا لتنمية حوار مع حكومة الولايات المتحدة ومواطنيها بشأن انتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان نتيجة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري السائدين في مجتمع الولايات المتحدة وسبل ووسائل القضاء عليهما؛

23. In 1991, the Commission, by its resolution 1991/68, requested the Secretary-General to appoint a Special Representative to maintain direct contact with the Government and citizens of Cuba on the human rights issues raised by a 1988 mission of the Commission.
٢٣ - وفي عام ١٩٩١ طلبت اللجنة الى اﻷمين العام ، بقرارها ١٩٩١/٦٨، أن يعين ممثلا خاصا ﻹقامة اتصالات مباشرة مع حكومة كوبا ومواطنيها بشأن مسائل حقوق الانسان التي أثارتها البعثة التي أوفدتها اللجنة الى كوبا في عام ١٩٨٨.

6. In its resolution 1483 (2003) of 22 May 2003, the Security Council requested the Secretary-General to appoint a Special Representative for Iraq, whose responsibilities would involve reporting regularly to the Council on his activities carried out pursuant to the resolution.
