16. Decides that the Commission for Social Development shall be composed of forty-six members elected from among the States Members of the United Nations or members of the specialized agencies according to the following pattern:
٦١ - يقرر أن تتكون لجنة التنمية الاجتماعية من ٤٦ عضوا ينتخبون من بين الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة أو اﻷعضاء في وكالاتها المتخصصة، وفقا للنمط التالي:

6. In accordance with Economic and Social Council decision 1993/207, the Commission is composed of 53 members elected from among the States Members of the United Nations and members of the specialized agencies.
٦ - وفقا لمقرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ١٩٩٣/٢٠٧، تتألف اللجنة من ٥٣ عضوا ينتخبون من بين الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة واﻷعضاء في الوكالات المتخصصة.

٦ - وفقا لمقرر المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي ١٩٩٣/٢٠٧، تتكون اللجنة من ٥٣ عضوا ينتخبون من بين الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة وأعضاء الوكالات المتخصصة.

30. Regarding the question of membership, frequency and duration of sessions, the Commission recommended an increase in its membership from 32 to 46, to be elected from among the States Members of the United Nations or members of the specialized agencies (12 seats for African States, 10 seats for Asian States, 9 seats for Latin American and Caribbean States, 5 seats for Eastern European States, and 10 seats for Western European and other States).
٣٠ - وفيما يتعلق بعضويتها وتواتر ومدة دوراتها، أوصت اللجنة بزيادة عدد أعضائها من ٣٢ عضوا إلــى ٤٦ عضوا ينتخبون من بين الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة أو اﻷعضاء في وكالاتها المتخصصة )١٢ مقعدا للدول اﻷفريقية، و ١٠ مقاعد للدول اﻵسيوية، و ٩ مقاعد لدول أمريكا اللاتينية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي و ٩ مقاعد لدول أوروبا الشرقية و ١٠ مقاعد لدول أوروبا الغربية ودول أخرى(.
