The following persons are exempt from service pursuant to article 14:
وعملا بالمادة ٤١، يُعفى من هذه الخدمة اﻷشخاص التالي ذكرهم:

Criminal responsibility. A child under 15 years of age is exempted from criminal responsibility.

3- عندما يُعفى الناقل من جزء من مسؤوليته بمقتضى هذه المادة، لا يكون الناقل مسؤولا إلاّ عن ذلك الجزء من الهلاك أو التلف أو التأخر الذي يُعزى إلى الحدث أو الظرف الذي هو مسؤول عنه بمقتضى هذه المادة. "
