The Asian Reinsurance Corporation was established in 1979 with the aim of reducing the foreign exchange outflow from its members arising from insurance and Reinsurance payments by Asian and Pacific countries.
وفي عام ١٩٧٩، أسست الشركة اﻵسيوية ﻹعادة التأمين بهدف خفض تدفقات النقد اﻷجنبي المتأتية من أعضائها والناتجة من مدفوعات البلدان اﻵسيوية ومنطقة المحيط الهادئ المتعلقة بالتأمين وإعادة التأمين.

The first national Egyptian Reinsurance company had been established in 1957, and in 1961 all insurance companies had been nationalized and their number reduced through the incorporation of smaller companies into the bigger ones.
وأول شركة مصرية وطنية ﻹعادة التأمين أنشئت في عام ٧٥٩١، أما في عام ١٦٩١ فقد أممت جميع شركات التأمين وخُفض عددها من خلال إدماج الشركات الصغيرة في شركات أكبر حجماً.

It was reported in 1993 that the Reinsurance Association of America had published a survey on Reinsurance which showed that Bermuda was by far the biggest Reinsurance domicile in the world and that a total of B$ 4.5 billion in Reinsurance premiums had originated from the United States alone in 1991, more than double the level of B$ 2.03 billion in 1990.
