El derecho humano al agua y el saneamiento está indisolublemente asociado al más alto nivel posible de salud física y mental, así como a los derechos a la vida y a la dignidad humana.
يرتبط حق الإنسان في المياه والصرف الصحي ارتباطا غير قابل للانفصام بالتمتع بأعلى مستوى من الصحة البدنية والعقلية، فضلا عن الحقين في الحياة والكرامة الإنسانية.

En ese contexto, mi delegación agradece a la representante de Bolivia la iniciativa de convocar una reunión de la Asamblea General sobre la aplicación del derecho humano al agua y el saneamiento.

The realization of the human right to water and sanitation also requires ensuring access to adequate and affordable hygiene practices, including hand-washing and menstrual hygiene management, that ensure privacy and dignity.
كما يتطلب إعمال حق الإنسان في المياه والصرف الصحي ضمان ممارسات لائقة وغير مكلفة تكفل صون الخصوصيات والكرامة، ومنها غسل اليدين والعناية بالنظافة فترة الحيض.

6. the human right to water and sanitation entitles everyone, without discrimination, to have access to sufficient, safe, acceptable, physically accessible and affordable water for personal and domestic uses, and to have physical and affordable access to sanitation, in all spheres of life, that is safe, hygienic, secure and acceptable, and that provides privacy and ensures dignity.
6- ويخول حق الإنسان في المياه والصرف الصحي لأي شخص، دون تمييز، أن يحصل على ما يكفي من المياه المأمونة والمقبولة والمتاحة فعلياً والمعقولة التكلفة لأغراض الاستعمال الشخصي والمنزلي وأن يحصل فعلياً وبتكلفة معقولة على خدمات صرف صحي، في جميع ميادين الحياة، تكون مأمونة ومستوفية لمعايير النظافة وآمنة ومقبولة وتوفر شروط صون الخصوصيات وتكفل الكرامة.
