"Souhail" - Translation from English to Arabic

19. On 8 May 2002, the Special Rapporteur addressed a letter to the Government regarding the situation of Ms. Safia Taleb Al Souhail, publisher of the newspaper Al Manar Al Arabi and Advocacy Director of the Arab and Islamic World at the International Alliance for Justice, who had allegedly received death threats from a messenger of the Government of Iraq during her stay in Jordan.
19 - وفي 8 أيار/مايو 2002 وجه المقرر الخاص رسالة إلى الحكومة بشأن حالة السيدة صفية طالب السهيل، وهي ناشرة لصحيفة المنار العربي ومديرة شؤون الدعوة للعالم الإسلامي والعربي بالتحالف الدولي من أجل العدالة، والتي زُعم أنها تلقت تهديدات بالقتل من مبعوث من حكومة العراق أثناء إقامتها بالأردن.
