1. Conditions for a just and durable peace
1- شروط لإحلال سلام عادل ودائم

a just and durable peace in the Middle East can be achieved only when the world community, including the United Nations, plays its rightful role in upholding respect for the principles that are the foundation of global peace, stability and security, as enshrined in the United Nations Charter.
ولا يمكن تحقيق سلام عادل ودائم في الشرق الأوسط إلا حينما يضطلع المجتمع الدولي، بما فيه الأمم المتحدة، بدوره الحقيقي في إعلاء احترام المبادئ التي تمثل قاعدة السلام الدولي والاستقرار والأمن، كما ورد في ميثاق المتحدة.

1. Welcomes the activities that the United Nations Environment Programme is undertaking within the framework of the search for a just and durable peace in the Middle East, and requests the Executive Director to continue to intensify such support;
