1. The Chairman recalled that at its 7th meeting the Committee had decided to defer its consideration of the request submitted by Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a letter contained in document A/C.5/53/23, for temporary exemption from the application of Article 19 of the Charter pending receipt of a similar request from the Congo.
