According to the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), launched by His Majesty the King on 18 May 2005, 38 per cent of the population is living in a vulnerable situation (less than $500 per person per year) and 13.5 per cent of the population is living below the poverty threshold (less than $380 per person per year).
