Referring to the proposal submitted by the United Arab Emirates providing for the creation of a waqf for five Islamic universities;
وإذ يشير إلى الاقتراح المقدم من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة القاضي بإنشاء وقف لخمس جامعات إسلامية .

6. Expresses its profound gratitude to the government of Niger for the plot of land granted as a waqf to the University in Niamey, the capital.

4. Commends the commitment of the Islamic Development Bank to construct a waqf project for the Islamic University in Uganda in Kampala, Uganda and called upon the Government of Uganda to expedite the issuance of the identified Land Title in order to enable the project to start as soon as possible.
4 - يشيد بالتزام البنك الإسلامي للتنمية ببناء مشروع وقف للجامعة الإسلامية في أوغندا بكمبالا، ويدعو حكومة أوغندا للتعجيل بإصدار صكٍ للأرض المحددة ليتسنى بدء المشروع بأسرع فرصة ممكنة.

30. Calls for examining the possibility to put in place a " waqf " and to move to compulsory contributions of OIC member States that will be determined by the States to support the budget of Bayt Mal Al-Quds Al-Sharif and its projects.

٧٠ - وفي ١١ كانون الثاني/يناير، أفادت التقارير أن الشرطة تقوم باستجواب أحد حراس أمن " اﻷوقاف " إزاء ما زُعم من اعتدائه بالضرب على أحد سكان القدس، يبلغ من العمر ٣٦ عاما، حاول الدخول في ساحة الحرم الشريف في ١٠ كانون الثاني/يناير، عندما كانت مغلقة أمام الزوار.

The government of Uganda was urged to speed up the process of identifying and donating the land on which the project is to be constructed, as promised by H.E. the President of the Republic of Uganda when opening the King Fahd Plaza in September 2002.
4 - يرحب مع التقدير بالتزام البنك الإسلامي للتنمية بإنشاء مشروع وقف للجامعة في كمبالا في أوغندا، ويحث الحكومة الأوغندية على تسريع وتيرة عملية تحديد ومنح قطعة الأرض التي سيشيد فوقها المشروع، كما وعد بذلك فخامة رئيس جمهورية أوغندا خلال حفل افتتاحه بلازا الملك فهد في شهر أيلول/سبتمبر 2002م.

On 4 March 2004, the Israeli occupation authorities proceeded to confiscate further territory in the occupied Syrian Golan following a series of decisions to a similar effect, the latest of which involved the appropriation of land belonging to a waqf (Islamic religious trust) in the village of Mas' ada, having an area of 354 dunums and owned by Syrian Arab nationals.
أقدمت سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلية في الرابع من آذار/مارس 2004 على مصادرة المزيد من الأراضي في الجولان السوري المحتل بعد سلسلة من عدة قرارات مماثلة اتخذتها سلطات الاحتلال كان آخرها الاستيلاء على أراضي وقف في قرية مسعدة بلغت مساحتها 354 دونما، والتي تعود ملكيتها إلى المواطنين العرب السوريين.
