ويشير المجلس في هذا الصدد إلى ضرورة اعتبار الصحفيين والإعلاميين والأفراد المرتبطين بهم، العاملين في بعثات فنية تحفها المخاطر في مناطق النزاع المسلح أشخاصا مدنيين يجب احترامهم وحمايتهم بصفتهم هذه، شريطة ألا يقوموا بأي عمل يضر بوضعهم كمدنيين.
