وتكون مدفوعات العجز واجبة السداد إذا طلبت الجمعية العامة تطبيق المادة 26، بعد أن يتقرر أن هناك حاجة إلى سداد مدفوعات للعجز، استنادا إلى تقييم للعجز الاكتواري للصندوق المشترك في تاريخ التقييم.

After assessing the actuarial sufficiency of the Fund, the Consulting Actuary concluded that there was no requirement, as at 31 December 2011, for deficiency payments under article 26 of the regulations of the Fund as the actuarial value of assets exceeded the actuarial value of all accrued liabilities under the Fund.
109 - وبعد تقييم مدى الكفاية الاكتوارية للصندوق، خلُص الخبير الاكتواري الاستشاري إلى أنه لم تنشأ حاجة، حتى 31 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2011، إلى تسديد العجز بموجب المادة 26 من النظام الأساسي للصندوق لأن القيمة الاكتوارية للأصول تجاوزت القيمة الاكتوارية لجميع الالتزامات المستحقة على الصندوق.
