To that end, a new initiative entitled " United Nations public Administration Country Studies " was developed in 2010 and will be maintained by the Division as a comprehensive, up-to-date and readily accessible online knowledge base of country profiles on public governance and administration.

At the end of 2010, the Division participated in a regional meeting of the Asian chapter of the Organization and presented a preliminary conceptual framework and an action plan for 2011, including joint cooperation efforts to enrich the United Nations public Administration Country Studies with relevant information on supreme auditing institutions and to conduct analytical work on accountability in development management.
