One of the most important topics dealt with by the Committee at its last session had been the question of assistance to third States affected by the application of sanctions under Chapter VII of the Charter.

5. The question of assistance to third States affected by the application of sanctions under Chapter VII of the Charter had also been considered by the Committee at its most recent session.

16. The importance of the question of implementing the provisions of the Charter related to assistance to third States affected by the application of sanctions under Chapter VII of the Charter was generally stressed.

In that respect, working paper A/AC.182/L.79 on the implementation of the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations related to assistance to third States affected by the application of sanctions under Chapter VII of the Charter was particularly relevant.

٤٠ - واستطردت المتحدثة قائلة إن اللجنة الخاصة المعنية بالميثاق استعرضت أيضا مسألة تطبيق أحكام الميثاق فيما يتعلق بمساعدة الدول الثالثة المتضررة من تطبيق جزاءات بموجب الفصل السابع من الميثاق.

The Special Committee had also considered an item which was of particular importance to his delegation, mainly the implementation of the provisions of the Charter related to assistance to third States affected by the application of sanctions under Chapter VII of the Charter.
