The Board had an extensive discussion of the political, legal, financial and administrative implications of the decision to be taken on the application of ICITO to terminate its membership in the Fund, given the conditional aspects of the application and considering that the decision to terminate membership in UNJSPF rests exclusively with the General Assembly, acting on the affirmative recommendation of the Board.
٠٣ - أجرى المجلس مناقشة مستفيضة لﻵثار السياسية والقانونية والمالية واﻹدارية المترتبة على القرار الذي سيتخذ بشأن الطلب المقدم من اللجنة المؤقتة لمنظمة التجارة الدولية ﻹنهاء عضويتها في الصندوق، نظرا للجوانب الشرطية لهذا الطلب وﻷن القرار بإنهاء العضوية في الصندوق المشترك للمعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة هو حصرا من صلاحية الجمعية العامة، التي تتصرف بناء على توصية إيجابية من المجلس.

30. The Board had an extensive discussion of the political, legal, financial and administrative implications of the decision to be taken on the application of ICITO to terminate its membership in the Fund, given the conditional aspects of the application and considering that the decision to terminate membership in UNJSPF rests exclusively with the General Assembly, acting on the affirmative recommendation of the Board.
٠٣- أجـــرى المجلــس مناقشة مستفيضة لﻵثار السياسية والقانونية والمالية واﻹدارية المترتبة على القرار الذي سيتخذ بشأن الطلب المقدم من اللجنة المؤقتة لمنظمة التجارة الدولية ﻹنهاء عضويتها في الصندوق، نظرا للجوانب الشرطية لهذا الطلب وﻷن القرار بإنهاء العضوية في الصندوق المشترك للمعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي اﻷمم المتحدة هو حصرا من صلاحية الجمعية العامة، التي تتصرف بناء على توصية إيجابية من المجلس.

224. This process would require: (a) an affirmative recommendation from the Standing Committee (acting on behalf of the Board) after confirmation that all the conditions for admission to Fund membership, as established in article 3 of the Fund's Regulations, had been duly met; and (b) a subsequent favourable decision on the admission of the International Criminal Court by the General Assembly.
224 - وستتطلب هذه العملية: (أ) توصية إيجابية من اللجنة الدائمة (التي تعمل باسم المجلس) بعد التأكيد بأن جميع شروط القبول في عضوية الصندوق، كما وردت في المادة 3 من النظام الأساسي للصندوق، مستوفاة؛ (ب) صدور قرار لاحق من الجمعية العامة بقبول المحكمة الجنائية الدولية .

At its 186th meeting, held at United Nations Headquarters from 7 to 11 July 2003, the Standing Committee, acting on behalf of the Board, agreed by consensus to make to the General Assembly the " affirmative recommendation " , required under article 3c of the UNJSPF regulations, that the Court be admitted to UNJSPF membership, effective 1 January 2004.
وفي جلستها 186 التي عقدت في مقر الأمم المتحدة خلال الفترة من 7 إلى 11 تموز/يوليه 2003، نيابة عن المجلس المشترك، وافقت اللجنة الدائمة بتوافق الآراء على إصدار " توصية إيجابية " للجمعية العامة، عملا بالمادة 3 ج من النظام الأساسي للصندوق، تدعو إلى قبول عضوية المحكمة في الصندوق اعتبارا من 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2004.
