24- تعرب عن تقديرها للجهود التي يبذلها وسطاء الأمم المتحدة ومنظمة الوحدة الأفريقية والاتحاد الأوروبي سعياً لإيجاد حل دائم لمشاكل بوروندي؛

The Council also expresses the hope that the mediation efforts of the Organization of African Unity and the European Union will complement those of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General.
ويعرب المجلس أيضا عن اﻷمل في أن تكمل جهود الوساطة التي تبذلها منظمة الوحدة الافريقية والاتحاد اﻷوروبي الجهود التي يبذلها المبعوث الخاص لﻷمين العام.

22. The European Union also believes the historic first Africa-Europe Summit, under the aegis of the Organization of African Unity and the European Union at the invitation of Egypt and under the cochairmanship of the two regions, add momentum to the development of the Mediterranean agenda.
