39- وأعربت لجنة حقوق الطفل عن قلقها إزاء إساءة معاملة الأطفال والارتفاع الحاد في مستوى العنف ضدهم، فأوصت الكاميرون بحماية الأطفال من جميع أشكال العنف(75).

States are called upon to comply with the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women, which provides that States should develop preventive approaches and " all those measures of a legal, political, administrative and cultural nature that promote the protection of women against any form of violence " , and they are urged to ratify and implement the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.

In December 2010, we adopted a three-year action plan to implement resolution 1325 (2000) on women and peace and security, which places the protection of women and girls against any form of violence among its main priorities and objectives.

" (h) Institute national plans of action, supported by the necessary human and financial resources, including time-bound, measurable targets, to promote the protection of women against any form of violence, and accelerate the implementation of existing national action plans, that are regularly monitored and updated by Governments in consultation with civil society, in particular, non-governmental organizations and women's groups and networks;
" (ح) وضع خطط عمل وطنية، تدعمها الموارد البشرية والمالية اللازمة، تتضمن أهدافا محددة زمنيا وقابلة للقياس قصد تعزيز حماية المرأة من أي شكل من أشكال العنف والإسراع بتنفيذ خطط العمل الوطنية القائمة التي ترصدها الحكومات وتستكملها بانتظام بالتشاور مع المجتمع المدنيـ، لا سيما المنظمات غير الحكومية، والجماعات والشبكات النسائية؛
